Why are we here, ... really? 

Why, ...

In this sacred place,

On this day,

You and I,

Yet again?

Here ... where the translucent blue ...

Flows to eternity,

As if through a crystal ball.

We are here because ...

No one perceives this wonder,

As we do.

As if she were seeing it for the very first time,

Day after day,

Year after year,

Holding it in her heart,

As we do.

Or loving it, 

As we do.

No one.

This is why we are here,

In this sacred place,

On this day,

You and I,

Yet again.

So, the sun actually sets eight plus minutes before the sunset image we view from our little planet. Indeed, everything we see in this universe is time delayed, By milliseconds to millions of years, Depending upon its distance from our eyes. In other words, ...
