Causality - Leelanau Style




Last year, 

Either God or global warming ...

Produced increased precipitation in the Great Lakes basin,

Resulting in very high Lake Michigan water levels,

Leading to considerable erosion of the Leelanau shoreline,

Bringing about the near total collapse of our community beach stairway,

Prompting an alternate route for rock collecting,

Yielding far fewer suitable rocks,

Contributing to a significant setback,

In the construction of my wall ...

This year.

Which is the time it takes for our sunlight To make its 93 million mile journey To the Land of Delight. So, the sun actually sets eight plus minutes before the sunset image we view from our little planet. Indeed, everything we see in this universe is time delayed, By milliseconds to millions of years, Depending upon its distance from our eyes. In other words, ...
