Standing here ... In the silver glow, On the edge of night And my seventh decade, Thoughts randomly turn to ... The end. Not so much the end of my life. Rather, the end of the story. The story of family and friends, Of laughter and tears, Of hopes and dreams, Of Leelanau sunsets. I fear not the end of my life. I fear the end of the story.
